KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — After severe storms rolled through East Tennessee Tuesday morning, several polling locations were forced to use paper ballots and battery back-up systems.

Knox County Election Commission Director Cliff Rogers told WVLT that all voting locations now have power.

The paper ballots cast today due to the power outages will not be counted until Friday when the Provisional Ballot Board meets.

Sevier County Election Commission told WVLT News that they are having several problems at many locations and technicians are working to fixing any ongoing issues.

WVLT News will continue to update the statuses of polling locations across East Tennessee.
